Physio Companion User Manual

Operational guidelines and documentation for all user roles across the ecosystem.

Owner Manual

  • Access Scope: Only users with the Owner role can access the "Staff Onboarding" tab to add or remove clinicians/owners.
  • Staff Onboarding:
    1. Navigate to "Staff Onboarding" and fill in the staff member's First Name, Last Name, Contact Number, Residence, and CNIC.
    2. The system will automatically calculate the User ID by removing dashes from the CNIC.
    3. The default password will be generated as: [last 4 digits of CNIC] + [last 4 digits of mobile number].
    4. Upon submission, the credentials will be displayed in an alert box. Copy and securely share these with the new staff member.
  • Staff De-onboarding: Click the "De-onboard" button next to any staff member in the directory to immediately revoke their portal access.

Clinician Manual

  • Access Scope: Clinicians can view and manage only the patients explicitly assigned to their clinician username.
  • Patient Registration:
    1. Click "Add New Patient" in the Patients Directory.
    2. Enter the patient's name, email, injury diagnosis, and select the managing clinician.
    3. Clicking "Register Patient" will auto-generate their Patient ID using the current date-time in the format ddmmyyhhmmss and a secure password.
  • Credentials Management: Click the Credentials button next to a patient to view their ID/Password or update them. Changing a patient's ID automatically migrates all routines and workout logs to the new ID.
  • Routine Construction: Click Manage Routine to add exercises, set targets (sets, reps, hold time in seconds, execution time e.g., 15:00), and write cues. Changes sync to the patient's phone in real-time.
  • Recovery Progress: Click Recovery Logs to inspect the interactive VAS pain level trend chart and read patient feedback/difficulty logs.

Patient Mobile App Manual

  • Login: Open the app on Android. Enter the Patient ID (e.g. 060626094200) and Password generated by the clinician. The app caches the session to bypass login on future opens.
  • Reminders: The app automatically schedules native daily alarms exactly 10 minutes before each exercise time (timezone: Pakistan Asia/Karachi). Alarms rebuild automatically if the clinician updates the schedule.
  • Workout Session: Tap "Start Today's Session" to enter the guided trainer. The app provides holding countdowns, sets/reps trackers, and instructional cues.
  • Log Submission: After completion, patients submit a recovery log including difficulty score (1-5), pain level (1-10 VAS scale), and optional feedback notes. This instantly syncs to the clinician's dashboard.

Master Admin Manual

  • Access Scope: Signed in via hardcoded credentials. Access is restricted to overviewing global directory tables and metrics. Master Admins cannot onboard staff, as that function is reserved for Owners.
